Lecture and Workshop on the Digital Humanities
Dr. Shawn Graham (Carleton University, Ottawa) will be visiting SUNY Potsdam to give a public lecture and faculty workshop on the digital humanities. Sponsored by the College Libraries as part of their Bregman Humanities Series, both events will center around Dr. Graham's work as a digital humanist, archaeologist, and historian. On Tuesday, Nov. 5, join us at 7 p.m. in the Crumb Library LTEC for a talk titled "Toying with History: On video games, simulations, Bill Murray, and Sid Meier." On Wednesday, Nov. 6, Dr. Graham will host a hands-on computer workshop for faculty members on network analysis; we'll meet from noon - 1 p.m. in Kellas 100.
