The Community Health Department invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor beginning fall of 2014.

Responsibilities: teaching graduate level community health courses, including but not limited to: epidemiology, biostatistics, social/behavioral determinants of health, health disparities, program planning, program evaluation, environmental/ occupational health, research methods, and health policy/administration.

Duties also include graduate and undergraduate student advising, research/creative activities, and University/public service. The faculty member would also likely teach in the Bachelor of Science in Community Health program.

Required qualifications: Candidates must have an earned doctorate in Public Health or a closely related field, ABD considered. Preference given to candidates with education or experience in the area of rural health. To apply, visit, job posting No. 0600495.Position is open until filled.
