Spring Travel Award to St. Petersburg, Russia
The SUNY Russian Programs Network (RPN) announces a Spring Travel Award for SUNY Faculty in the Humanities and Social Sciences to spend 7-10 days in St. Petersburg during the Spring 2014 semester, giving 2-3 lectures and 1 pro-seminar at St. Petersburg State University and other local institutions. Another Russian city engagement is also possible. The Award covers international and local travel, visa and registration expenses, accommodation in St. Petersburg, and a small per diem.
Applications will be accepted from SUNY full-time faculty in any field in the Humanities and Social Sciences, with preference going to interdisciplinary topics such as Cultural Studies, Media/Film Studies, Women's and Gender Studies, History, Political Science, Cognitive Science, Sociology and Philosophy. Lectures will be in English.
