James Donahue's (English & Communication) article "Skinner Sweet: Amearican Vampire" has been accepted (pending minor revisions) for publication in the European Journal of American Studies, for their special issue on "(Re)visioning American in the Graphic Novel."

Lee Geiselmann (English & Communication) completed his BFA requirements with a public reading on December 3. Sara Cantwell (also a BFA) opened with readings from her poetry.

Rebecca Lehmann's (English & Communication) poem "Assembling My Collection" has been accepted for publication by Cream City Review. Her poem "Exoskeleton," published in the summer 2013 issue of The Cincinnati Review, has been nominated by the editors of that journal for a Pushcart Prize.

Post-Soul Satire, edited by Derek Maus and James Donahue (English & Communication) will be published in July 2014 by University Press of Mississippi.
