Residence Life Area Coordinators Vacancy


The Residence Life office invites applications for full-time, 11-month, live-in Area Coordinators (State title: Residence Hall Directors) beginning July 28, 2014.

Responsibilities: Oversight of a residential area housing 650-700 residents, supervise a staff of 14-21 students, student conduct, facility maintenance, conflict resolution, crisis intervention, administrative and operational functions, programming and community building, committee work, and participation in departmental planning and decision making. Area Coordinator participates in professional staff on-call rotation.

Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of professional experience in residence life.Master's degree strongly preferred.
