NCMEP Summer Tutor Vacancies

The Research Foundation (RF) for SUNY Potsdam, a private not-for-profit educational corporation, invites applications for two Summer Tutors for the North Country Migrant Education Program. Spanish not required. June 30 through August 18, 2014.

One part-time (25-30 hours per week) position for the Chateaugay School District.

One part-time (20 hours per week) position for the Parishville-Hopkinton, Canton, Hermon-DeKalb District.

Summer tutors work in the home with migrant children, preschool through high school, on age appropriate skills with an emphasis on math and reading. Curriculum and training provided. $15 per hour. Teaching certification preferred. Mileage paid. Telephone w/answering machine, dependable car and valid driver's license required.
