Vacancy for the North Country Migrant Education Program


The Research Foundation (RF) for SUNY Potsdam, a private not-for-profit educational corporation, invites applications for a full time ESL Tutor/Advocate for the North Country Migrant Education Program for St. Lawrence and Franklin Counties, Spanish proficiency required, 37.5 hours/week.

Anticipated start date June 30, 2014. Candidate will assess English Language skills, provide ESL instruction to young Hispanic farm workers on local dairy farms and provide advocacy services as needed. Flexible hours (possible week-ends and/or early evenings).

BA in education preferred. $16 per hour. Mileage paid. Excellent benefits for anyone working over 20 hours per week, including health, dental, vision and life insurance. Position requires telephone w/answering machine, dependable car and valid driver's license.
