Calendar

The Center is open from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Summer hours are typically observed from mid May through the end of June. During this time the Center will close at 4:30 p.m.

The Center will be closed from July 2nd through August 17th, 2012. We will reopen on August 20th. The Fall 2012 contract will begin on Monday, August 27, 2012. Programming is continuous throughout the year except for the following days: July 2 - August 17, 2012; December 24, 2012 through January 1, 2013; and 2 staff development days (October 8, 2012 and February 18, 2013).

 

 
The following are days you are required to pay for even though the Center is closed:

  • October Staff Development Day
  • Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving
  • Spring Staff Development Day
  • Memorial Day (If you are normally in attendance during this time)
   

  Payment on these days allows us to pay our staff for holidays and also for required training hours that maintain our license and provide the highest quality staff. Thank You.


The Center will be CLOSED in observance of the following holidays:

  •   Memorial Day
  • Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving.
  • Christmas Eve day through New Year’s Day.
   

  Other Closings:

The Center may be forced to close early or shorten the hours of operation due to inadequate staff/child ratio coverage. Example: hazardous weather or staff absenteeism due to illness. See page 5 of the Parent Handbook for inclement weather policy.

All efforts will be made to contact parents or authorized emergency pick-up persons in advance by phone or by local radio broadcasts.

Please be aware that the Center will be closed for approximately seven weeks during the summer months. This closure is from the end of June through the middle of August.

  The Board of Directors reserve the right to reconsider this closure in future years, if the needs of the Center change.

Occasionally other closings may occur depending on the college calendar, available training conferences, college events and low enrollment. Parents will be notified in advance of such closings.
