The Benjamin F. Raymond Society recognizes alumni and friends of SUNY Potsdam who, like Benjamin Raymond, have remembered Potsdam in their will or through a planned gift.
Planned gifts include bequest intentions in a will, life income agreements (charitable gift annuities, commercial annuities, charitable remainder trusts), trusts, real estate with retained life use, life insurance, IRAs, and retirement plans.
Remembering Potsdam through a planned gift is the definitive expression of how much Potsdam means to you. A planned gift is a way for you to help ensure the mission of the College continues long after your lifetime. Planned gifts are essential to Potsdam's future and represent your confidence in that future.
In recognition of thoughtful planning and generosity, Benjamin F. Raymond Society members are listed on the Society plaque, prominently displayed on the first floor of Raymond Hall. When attending official College events, a Society ribbon is placed the nametag of members as a symbol of their dedication and commitment to Potsdam. In addition, the College may, from time to time, hold special events for members of the Society as an additional way of saying "thank you."
To become a member of the Benjamin F. Raymond Society, simply notify the Office of Planned Giving that you have included the College in a planned gift. All information shared is confidential. And of course, if so desired, membership can be anonymous.
