A Brief Description of NYS W-2 Statements - Produced by the Office of the State Comptroller W-2s are automatically mailed from Albany to the address that appears on your paycheck/advice in January. It is important that you notify us immediately of any address change. Failure to do so may result in you not receiving your W-2 statement promptly.
