Interdisciplinary search tools which include many articles online:

Academic Search Premier	An academic multi-disciplinary database with full text for nearly 4,650 periodicals, including full text for more than 3,600 peer-reviewed titles.
Wilson OmniFile Select	Full-text of nearly 1200 journals, with coverage as far back as Jan. 1994. Access is limited to a relatively small number of simultaneous users. All entries are in full-text.
ProQuest Journals	Searches all of the ProQuest journal packages: ProQuest Education Journals; and ProQuest Social Science Journals
MasterFile Premier	Designed for public libraries, this resource provides full text for nearly 1,950 general periodicals covering a broad range of disciplines.
Lexis-Nexis Academic Universe	U.S. and world news; business, legal, and medical news; foreign language news sources
Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center	Covers current social issues. Includes viewpoint articles, topic overviews, statistics, primary documents, links to websites, and full-text magazine and newspaper articles.
CQ Electronic Library	Reporting and analysis from Congressional Quarterly on issues in the news. CQ Researcher, 1991-date. CQ Weekly, 1983-date.
USA.gov	Search for and connect to online information sources from federal and state governments. It allows both searching for specific subjects and browsing under an array of subject categories.
GoogleScholar	Searches across many disciplines and sources for peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts and articles, from academic publishers, professional societies, etc. Links to available resources in your library.
