Off-Campus and Residence Hall Access to
Web-Based Subscription Library Resources
via EZProxy (Proxy Server Authentication)

Instructions for Using EZProxy:
- "Cookies" must be activated in your browser settings
for this service to work.

- Select the link to your resource of choice from the
Library's
Web Site.
- If off-campus or in the residence halls, you will be
prompted for your SUNY Potsdam computer Username and
Password (also your campus email username/password)
- Once your status is verified, you'll be connected to
the resource.
Problems:
- Computer Accounts: You must be a current
student or staff member of SUNY Potsdam with an active
SUNY Potsdam computer account. Contact the
Computing & Technology Services for further
information about your account (315-267-2083).
- "Losing" authorization: If you close your
browser session (or if your browser crashes) then you'll
need to login again.
- Other Problems: Please direct your questions

Resources Inaccessible via EZProxy:
A few databases require passwords whether on or
off campus. Call Crumb Library's Information Desk for
further information (315-267-2485).
