Society and Human Services Minor
21 credit hours required.
Open with certain restrictions to all majors. No more than 6 credit hours of this minor may be counted toward the following majors: political science, psychology or sociology.
The Society and Human Services minor is interdisciplinary and is offered principally within the Departments of Sociology, Psychology and Politics.
The minor provides an opportunity for students to develop a critical evaluation of the human services area through examination of the related disciplines. An appreciation for differing perspectives and an understanding of values and their effects are also gained.
