SUNY Potsdam open house at JCC for degree programs offered in Watertown

SUNY Potsdam will hold an open house for the general public on Thursday, Oct. 22, at Jefferson Community College to provide information and answer questions regarding the four graduate education degree programs and the undergraduate Business Administration Degree Completion Program offered for part-time students in Watertown.

In addition, representatives will provide information regarding the new part-time Master of Science in Education degree in organizational leadership/human performance technology offered in Watertown.

The open house will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the H.A.T Dining Room, located on the first floor of the Jules Center.

Master of Science in Education degrees are available in Literacy Specialist, Literacy Educator and Curriculum and Instruction, and a Master of Science in Teaching degree is available in Childhood Instruction (Grades 1-6) through the Watertown-based program.

Courses for these part-time degree programs are offered utilizing a combination of face-to-face weekday evenings, face-to-face weekends (Friday evening and all day Saturday) and online delivery formats to accommodate the needs of adults who have work, family or other responsibilities during the weekday. Multi-year schedule templates are available that indicate which courses will be offered in each semester/session for each of these programs enabling students to complete their degree in a timely manner.
