The Crane Jazz Band will present a fall concert on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sara M. Snell Music Theater at SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music. This event is free, and the public is invited to attend.
Directed by Bret Zvacek, the Crane Jazz Band will present a selection of works by Jeff Jarvis, Michael Philip Mossman, Thad Jones, George Gershwin, Sammy Nestico, Bob Mintzer and Matt Harris, as well as compositions and arrangements by Zvacek himself.
The Crane Jazz Band consists of 18 students on saxophone, trumpet, trombone and rhythm.
