Crane Latin Ensemble Offers Energizing Fall Concert Nov. 8
The Crane Latin Ensemble will present a fall concert at SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music on Friday, Nov. 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Helen M. Hosmer Concert Hall. The performance will include works by Tito Puente, the Spanish Harlem Orchestra, Cachao and the Mambo Legends Orchestra.
This event is free, and the public is invited to attend.
About the performers:
The Crane Latin Ensemble is a group exploring the genre of Afro-Cuban music and salsa in its entirety. The ensemble explores folkloric and contemporary rhythms, songs and styles that take their roots specifically from Puerto Rico, Cuba and the Dominican Republic. Adjunct instructor Nathaniel Coyne will direct the Crane Latin Ensemble this year.
