SUNY Potsdam to host a Winter Lacrosse League for area youth

Boys in 8th - 12th grade or ages 14-18 are invited to participate in a Winter Lacrosse League hosted by the Athletic Department and the Center for Lifelong Education and Recreation at SUNY Potsdam.
Lacrosse players of all skill levels are welcome to join Coach Rick Berkman, the coaching staff, and members of the SUNY Lacrosse Team to work one-on-one toward developing and perfecting skills in catching, throwing, and handling ground balls, as well as offensive and defensive strategies. The majority of the time will be spent playing six-on-six games with different teams chosen for each session. Teams will be selected by age and ability.
Sessions are Sundays from 10 a.m. – noon in the Maxcy Hall Field House. The first section is scheduled for November 29, December 6 and December 13, while the second section will run January 3, January 10 and January 17. Registration for each section is $45 per player.
Participants are asked to come to every session fully equipped with helmet, mouth guard, gloves, arm pads, stick and sneakers.
