Crane School of Music Presents Student Honors Recital Feb. 4
SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music will present the Student Honors Recital, featuring some of the best student performers at Crane, on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sara M. Snell Music Theater.
The performance will include works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Robert Schumann, Charles Gounod, Claude Debussy, Carl Maria von Weber, George Gershwin, Brian Bowen and Iannis Xenakis.
This event is free, and the public is invited to attend.
This concert will feature students selected by professors in their respective areas. The students selected to represent their performance areas for 2013-14 include:
·Brass: Ethan Cypress (trombone) and Tyler Giroux (euphonium)
·Percussion: Kyle Peters (marimba)
·Piano: Kevin Gorman
·Woodwinds: Joseph Shy (bass clarinet)
·Voice: Edith Grossman (mezzo-soprano) and Jameson Wells (baritone)
