FREDONIA, N.Y.—SUNY Fredonia (12-5, 7-3 SUNYAC) pulled away in the fourth quarter for a 57-29 victory over the SUNY Potsdam women's basketball team (1-15, 0-10) on Friday night. Junior guard Abbey LaPage (North Bangor, N.Y./Franklin Academy) led the Bears with nine points, while freshman forward Victoria Shopovick (White Plains, N.Y./Maria Regina) had six points and freshman guard Secret Clark (Bronx, N.Y./NYC Charter for A.E.C.I.) added five.
BUFFALO, N.Y.—Buffalo State (9-5-4, 5-3-1 SUNYAC) scored three third period goals en route to a 6-1 victory over the SUNY Potsdam men's hockey team (10-6-3, 6-3-1) on Friday night. Junior forward Tommy Telesca (Selden, N.Y./New York Bobcats) scored for the Bears. Mac Wood and Anthony Beaumont each scored twice for the Bengals.
POTSDAM, N.Y.- SUNY Potsdam men's basketball team's (1-16, 1-9 SUNYAC) comeback fell short against SUNY Fredonia (6-11, 5-6 SUNYAC) Friday night with a score of 72-64. Senior guard Joe Estramonte (Greenwich, N.Y./Greenwich Central) led the Bears with 14 points, while his counterpart Blue Devil Ian Helps recorded a double-double in the win with 13 points and 12 boards.
BUFFALO, N.Y.—Buffalo State (7-12, 3-9 SUNYAC) used a big second quarter run to pull away from the SUNY Potsdam women's basketball team (1-17, 0-11) for a 70-40 win on Saturday afternoon. Junior guard Meghan Driscoll (Troy, N.Y./Troy) led the Bears with 10 points and senior forward Katie LaVoie (Malone, N.Y./Franklin Academy) scored nine. Jordan Yastremski led the Bengals with 17 points and eight rebounds and Keyonte Edwards posted 16 points and 18 boards.
