Singing their rendition of Alicia Key’s “Fallin’,” the identical twins were selected by all four judges, including Blake Shelton, Usher, Adam Levine and Shakira. They ultimately chose to compete on Team Blake.
“SUNY Potsdam is so very proud to see Cara and Rhian Morgan '07 on the hit television show ‘The Voice.’ The twins certainly have a great deal of talent,” said Director of Alumni Relations Mona Ouimet Vroman ’85. “We wish Cara and Rhian the best of luck through this journey and know that they will go far!”
The Rochester, N.Y., natives earned their bachelor’s degrees from SUNY Potsdam in 2007, where they were Potsdam Bears cheerleaders. Cara Morgan was a psychology major, and is currently a mental health therapist. Rhian Morgan majored in community health, and works in insurance.
They auditioned for season two of “American Idol,” and have performed at a Buffalo Bills game. The identical twins hope to pursue music full-time.
