Crane Percussion Ensemble Presents 45th Annual Concert
Don’t Miss Percussion Ensemble Performance Tuesday, April 16 at SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music
SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music will present the 45th Annual Crane Percussion Ensemble Concert on Tuesday, April 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sara M. Snell Music Theater.
Directed by conductor James Petercsak, the performance will feature percussion soloist Austin Lamarche, xylophone soloist Kyle Peters and marimba soloist Jason Schirripa, as well as the Interplay Percussion Quartet.
The performance will include works such as “Downfall of the Crazy Army” by Jason Schirripa, “Prelude for Percussion” by Malloy Miller, “Ritual Music” by David Skidmore, “Saratoga Concertino” by Paul Steinberg, “Vales Brillant” by George Hamilton Green and “Marimba Spiritual” by Minoru Miki, as well as Roger Keagle’s “Three Movements for Percussion Ensemble.”
This event is free, and the public is invited to attend.
