SUNY Potsdam Hosts Alumni for Todd Hobin/Double Axel Concert

SUNY Potsdam will welcome alumni and friends for a once-in-a-lifetime concert with Double Axel and the Todd Hobin Band at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino Showroom this Saturday, Sept. 29 at 8 p.m.

Potsdam’s favorite party band Double Axel continues to celebrate its 40th anniversary in concert, this time alongside the legendary Todd Hobin Band, which has five albums to its credit and has toured with the Beach Boys, the Kinks and the Allman Brothers, to name a few. The current members of Double Axel are Frankie Johns on bass, Rob Zolner on guitar and Alex Vangellow on percussion. All of the members perform vocals as well, in their renditions of rock classics.
