CPS will offer its annual dance camp in partnership with Rebecca Kelly Ballet this summer from July 9 to July 13 at SUNY Potsdam.

The Onstage full-day intern program is designed for the mature student over the age of 12 with a serious interest in dance (modern or ballet). The Onstage half-
day program is for 6- to 14-year-olds and explores movement and develops dance techniques while preparing students for the Friday performance (young students in this program must have completed kindergarten). Onstage Plus provides students ages 12 to 14 a chance to bridge the gap between these two programs, by participating in the Onstage half-day program and additional technique classes with full-day interns.

Kids Co-Motion is a unique series of creative movement classes involving the youngest community members. Kids Co-Motion I is designed for 2- to 4-year-olds who attend with an adult. Kids Co-Motion II is for 4- to 6-year-olds, without adult accompaniment. In both sessions, movement vocabulary is built, featuring a delightful range of music. Participants in Kids Co-Motion II will also participate in the Friday evening performance.  

Daily technique classes are offered each afternoon to the advanced student and adult dancers looking for an intensive technique refresher.  

Registration prices are $240 for the Onstage full-day intern program, $190 for the Onstage Plus program, and $160 for the Onstage half-day program. Kids Co-Motion Level I is $75, and Kids Co-Motion Level II is $88. Daily technique classes are $25 each, or $110 for the week. Save 20 percent with an “early bird” discount until May 11.
