Barbara Hornum, Director of the Drexel Center for Academic Excellence, and Craig Bach, Vice Provost for Institutional Research, Assessment and Effectiveness, offer an active and participatory session on setting learning goals that support high impact practices such as student research. 

The session explores the types of rubrics and metrics most likely to help students measure their own goal attainment and assist faculty to develop outcomes, mappings, assignments and evaluations aligned with student learning goals. 

Interested participants should bring a course syllabus or other curricular materials they wish to develop or rework in the workshop.
