Join Keith Compeau to discuss how posters differ from papers, and how to use that to help you improve your own or your student's posters.

The behavior of poster session attendees mimics that of shoppers. Using this knowledge we will explore information from the fields of marketing and neuroscience to discuss practical design tips for you and your students to use to improve your poster presentations. We will also discuss how to better integrate poster assignments into your syllabus and the importance of acknowledging intellectual property rights in poster content. The session will be an hour with a 20 minute presentation, a question and answer period, and a hands on group activity to redesign posters that were previously designed by our students.
