The Future of the Past: Archaeology in the 21st Century with Dr. David Starbuck, a Professor of Anthropology at Plymouth State University.
Dr. David Starbuck is the author of numerous books on his archaeological
research, including such topics as American fort architecture, Shaker settlements, and
early American industrial sites. He is a professor at Plymouth State University in New
Hampshire, and resides in the Adirondacks of New York State. He will be presenting his
ideas on new directions in archaeological research in the 21st century, to be followed by a
panel discussion on the future of archaeology with Dr. Hadley Kruczek-Aaron and Dr. Tim
Messner of SUNY Potsdam's Anthropology Department.
