Honors Instruction Round Table, by David Smith

LTEC and the Honors Program will jointly host a round-table discussion, led by a panel of seven current and former honors-faculty members. The discussion will be primarily geared toward faculty members who may be interested in developing and offe3ring honors courses, but who have questions about what honors instruction means or entails. In addition to responding to attendees' questions panelists will discuss the various models (i.e., single-seat, mixed-cohort, full-honors section) for honors instruction, as well as what makes a course an honors course, panelists' experiences in working with honors students, how to build in discussion and interaction within an honors course, and similiar topics.
