Successful Proposal Writing
Wednesday, April 24, 2013
2:30 - 3:30pm
LTEC Classroom
One of the hardest things about grant writing is keeping the reader and the grant program guidelines in mind. You know what you're planning to do, but the proposal often leaves reviewers underwhelmed (or doesn’t quite address the key issues they were looking for).
In this workshop, facilitator Catherine Sajna (Pre-award Specialist/Grant writer) will explain how you need to write for different types of reviewers in the same proposal, and Dr Bill Romey (Biology) will discuss his experience as (proposal) reviewer for the NSF and as a successful NSF recipient. You may bring your own requests for proposals/grant announcements or actual proposals for some review.
