Studies on Widely-Used Organic Compounds

04.12.13 @ 09:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Location: Student Union Lobby

Student poster presentations of:  Recent advancements of graphene research in the areas of synthesis, properties, and applications such as biosensors, catalysis, and solar energy. Graphene's excellent electrical, optical, and mechanical properties are quite attractive and have given rise to this nanomaterial's current fame.  Sparking interest and research advancements in this material is key to opening doors in the future for improved devices and materials. We plan on sponsoring hands-on activities exploring the nanomaterial's exotic properties and presenting current research efforts in areas of medicine, electronics, and solar cell applications.
