Volunteers With Pets Needed for Doggy De-Stress Day

May 11, 2017

The College will be hosting Doggy De-Stress Day Friday, May 12, in conjunction with the campus movie, “101 Dalmatians.” The event will take place from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. behind Sisson Hall in the grassy area of the quad.

All students are invited to attend this event to de-stress and relax before finals week begins. Students that attend the event sit, pet and play with the volunteer dogs and then can go into the Union MPR to watch the movie. There will also be an opportunity for anyone who would like to donate to the Potsdam Humane Society to do so as we will have a donation jar on site.

They are currently looking for faculty and staff members that have dogs to volunteer for the event.  If interested please contact Heather West, westhj@potsdam.edu or Julie Rapczynski, rapczyjk@potsdam.edu to obtain the guidelines handout. An up to date dog license and proof of rabies shot will need to be provided also.
