Information Literacy Librarian Vacancy

College Libraries seeks a service-oriented, intellectually curious teacher-librarian to meaningfully advance the information literacy goals of the SUNY Potsdam community. The Information Literacy Librarian, a tenure track faculty librarian, will be critical to campus efforts to better prepare students for lives informed by media and information literacy.

They will primarily work on curricular integration of information literacy, likely via the following kinds of projects: Development and instruction of credit-bearing courses, Evolving and refining our tradition of one-shot in-course information literacy instruction, Development of library skills workshops and learning activities to support a new information and media literacy micro-credential, and Refinement and implementation of Information literacy outcomes for the Potsdam Pathways general education program.
