The Center for Lifelong Education and Recreation invites student applicants for an Administrative Assistant position to support Non-Credit Programs, Conferences and Events and Summer Camps. This position will be for spring 2012, with the potential to continue through the summer months and/or fall 2012 semester. Primary responsibilities will include managing various clerical duties such as answering phones, calling customers, filing, copying, shredding, bulk mailings, campus errands and typing. Additional tasks as needed may include program check-in, staffing, and photography; designing and posting marketing pieces; and completing special projects. Requirements: Strong interpersonal skills, proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to work in a fast paced, team environment. A minimum of two office hours each weekday for a total of 10-15 hours each week will be expected. The College Counseling Center is looking for a graduate student with good academic standing to work within the center doing miscellaneous clerical work (i.e. typing, filing, file management, work with the wellness advocates, errands around campus, special projects such as Crane Wellness Day and Open House Days on campus, etc.) Take note, if you are a current client at the Counseling Center, please speak with your therapist before applying for this position.
