For over 2 decades, SUNY Potsdam has participated in the Cooperative Institutional Research Program (CIRP) Freshman Survey. Freshman complete the survey during the summer orientation sessions in July. This annual data provides valuable profile information regarding the background, attitudes, behaviors and aspirations of an incoming cohort of students. Data analyzed over several years also informs faculty and college administrators of important trends.
