It is the policy of the State University of New York to take affirmative action to ensure that New York State certified minority and women owned business enterprises (m/WBEs) are given the opportunity to demonstrate their ability to provide the University with commodities and services at competitive prices.
In support of this interest and commitment, SUNY Potsdam regularly engages in a variety of initiatives designed to utilize the goods and services provided by minority and women-owned business enterprises.
The NYS Empire State Development Corporation has approved SUNY's goals of 15% for MBEs and 15% for WBEs for each State Fiscal year.
