A former or currently enrolled student may request that Directory Information not be available for viewing in the Campus Directory online. A student may also request that Directory Information not be released to non-college personnel without the student's prior consent.
To change the personal directory information available online, students may visit the "Campus Directory Information Exclusion" page under the "Personal Options" menu on BearPAWS. Changes made here only relate to the online Campus Directory.
A student may request that no Campus Directory Information be released to non-college personnel without the student's prior consent by consulting with the College Registrar and filing a "Request to Withhold Release of Directory Information" form in the Registrar's Office. Privacy requests are valid until rescinded in writing by the student.
Please consider very carefully the consequences of any decision to withhold release of all Directory Information. Though the Registrar's Office may legally release Directory Information to third parties, the office rarely gives out information except enrollment status and addresses. If a student completes a Request to Withhold Release of Directory Information" form, all requests for such information from outside the colleges including enrollment and degree verifications, will be refused. Regardless of the effect upon you, the College assumes no liability for honoring your instructions that such information be withheld.
