Graduation Application Procedure

• Students must file an Application for Degree during the semester prior to their final semester or ASAP in order to graduate.  

• The Application for Degree is in writable PDF format. This form requires Adobe Reader. 

• Mail completed application to: SUNY Potsdam, Registrar's Office, 44 Pierrepont Avenue, Potsdam, NY 13676 or fax to 315-267-2157. 

• "Graduation Status Checks" will be mailed to campus mailboxes during the final semester for undergraduates in the Arts & Sciences School. Please review carefully for outstanding degree requirements.  

• Undergraduates in the Crane School of Music are evaluated and informed by Crane staff. 

• SUNY Potsdam has three graduation dates: May, August and December. However, there is only one Commencement Ceremony in May. For information regarding the ceremony, contact the Public Affairs Office at 315-267-2114.
