Payment Plan Options
SUNY Potsdam Semester Payment Plan
The Semester Payment Plan is available for the fall and spring semesters only. The SUNY Potsdam Semester Payment Plan is a payment option which allows students to pay their bill in three installments. There is a $25 non-refundable application fee to participate in the plan. The first installment requires a down payment of 50% of current amount due plus a $25.00 nonrefundable application fee. This first installment is due by the billing due date on August 15th for the semester and January 15th for the Spring semester. Students are billed for the balance payable in two equal monthly installments due on September 15th and October 15th for the Fall semester and February 15th and March 15th for the Spring semester. These bills are available in the student's BearPAWS billing statement.

Please note: Semester Payment Plan bills are generated based on the originally billed charges for the semester. If you have increased your charges since receiving your initial semester bill notification, please check your billing statement in BearPAWS for an accurate balance due from which to calculate your payment.
This semester payment plan option is available up until the first day of classes only.
Late fees are assessed and a hold is placed on the account for missed payments. Students on hold are prevented from registering for future terms, dropping/adding classes in the current term, and other miscellaneous activities. These holds are not removed until the current amount billed is paid in full. Holds are not removed simply by paying the prior month's amount due. If you are unsure of the correct amount due please check the billing statement in BearPAWS.
We are unable to discuss specific account information to non-students without prior written permission from the student (done by completing a FERPA authorization form.) Having BearPAWS Guest Access does not provide FERPA authorization. Please ensure written permission has been granted before requesting specific account information.
SUNY Potsdam Annual Payment Plan
SUNY Potsdam offers an academic year payment plan option through Tuition Management Systems (TMS): the annual charge is $75.00.
Tuition Management Systems is a third-party payment company selected by SUNY Potsdam for convenience of spreading annual costs over ten months. The TMS plan is based on the academic year (fall and spring semester) cost of attendance. The cost of attendance is spread over ten equal monthly installments, beginning in July of each academic year.
The Interest-Free Monthly Payment Option
Education expenses are easier to pay when spread over predictable, interest-free monthly payments. Our Interest-Free Monthly Payment Option, offered in partnership with Tuition Management Systems, is an alternative to large annual or term payments and helps limit borrowing. It is available for a small enrollment fee and includes:
