Welcome to PACES Catering Services

The Catering Department exists for only one reason — to serve you! We want to be certain your special event is a success —small or large, simple or complex. In order to do our very best job for you, it is important that we have all the details and understand each others needs and resources.

You Need to Know

•There is no permanent catering staff. We make staff arrangements after you have ordered your event. Since we use student workers almost exculsively, it takes at least two days for us to secure staff — large events, or those during class periods, take longer. That is why we ask you to plan at least seven days in advance. We know that last minute situations will sometimes arise. Although we cannot guarantee service or product (most of our food products are shipped in from Albany or Syracuse) with less than a seven day notice, we will make every effort to accommodate your needs. Rush orders almost always cost us more to produce. In these cases you may be billed for additional charges.

Location, Location

Where you schedule your event determines what kind of menu we can offer you and your guests. If you plan your event in a Dining Location (Thatcher Hall; Lehman Dining Center; Knowles MPR; Raymond Hall 8th floor and the Barrington Student Union) you have the largest choice in menu and the option of a custom designed special menu. In all other "Non Dining" campus locations we offer a wonderful assortment of prepared foods for you to choose from. If you have questions, please contact Vicki Jacot at ext 2668.
