Dear Alumni,

Thank you for taking the time to read this and show an interest in the current and past Potsdam swimming family. For those of you who don't know, I was hired in 2002 to take over this position for the second time. (I was the coach from 1985-1990.) I have a pretty good historical perspective on the program here going back to the 1970's.

As for the future, I see the program gradually improving as we rebuild our participation numbers with new student-athletes. During 2003 and 2004 the women's team established 8 school records and all the swimmers (men and Women) achieved at least one lifetime best time.

Lastly, any support you are able to give the program would be greatly appreciated. Recruiting referrals, attendance at competition, or financial gifts all help. Although we fundraise, the expense of the Holiday training trip you all remember is the single biggest expense for the kids. If you are considering a gift you would make a check out to the Potsdam College Foundation with your memo to swimming. I wish you all a wonderful year. Thank you.
