History of PAEG
SUNY Potsdam Peer AIDS Education Group (SUNY PAEG) is an interdisciplinary group of faculty, staff and students created in 1988. The group works together in an effort to educate and prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS by raising awareness, providing information and skills in order to reduce risk of infection, and to give support to those individuals already infected.
The information below reflects the SUNY Potsdam AIDS Education Group, AIDS Education Manual (Second Edition, 1997) in an updated format. This will describe the campus efforts for AIDS education and prevention since 1988. This manual can be used as a reference, guide or model for other campuses. The first edition of the Manual was published in 1994.
