Political Student Association (PSA)
Mission Statement
Political Student Association is a non-partisan organization. Its purpose is to educate and inform students of various political issues/events dealing with local and national issues. It fosters political awareness on a variety of local, state, national, and international issues.
Club Goals
To educate and inform students by having mock debates and political surveys. To assist students in becoming more politically involved.
Recent Activities
Conducted a general political survey from students on campus. Hosted a series of "Town Hall Meetings" in the Student Union on a wide variety of topics were students could express their feelings relating to On Campus Housing, Global Warming, and Discrimination. We also sponsored an essay contest on party affiliation.
Fall '07- On August 30th we will host a mixer/ interest meeting in the second floor lounge of Sisson Hall at 7pm.
