Drug and Alcohol Information
SUNY Potsdam cares about students’ health, safety and academic success and has a commitment to proactively address high-risk drinking and substance use. Our goal is to improve academic success and the quality of student life on the campus by increasing healthy lifestyles and reducing the harm associated with alcohol and other drug abuse.
The information that follows outlines the standards of conduct that clearly prohibit the unlawful possession, use or distribution of illicit drugs and alcohol by students and employees on College property or as part of College activities, and describes the applicable disciplinary and legal sanctions, associated health risks and support programs and services available to all members of the SUNY Potsdam community. All students are expected to be aware of the information contained in these pages.
