The PLACES program is designed to enhance the skills of current leaders as well as motivate more students to become involved in leadership activities. Numerous workshops are offered throughout the semester and are open to all students.

The PLACES Incentive Program - Your organization could win $200!!

Money can be spent toward a campus event your group is sponsoring or the purchase of needed equipment related to your group's mission in accordance with Campus Life purchasing guidelines.

How to earn points:

1. General attendance
   
   
   • If your group has at least one (1) member at an Event, you get 10 points
   • If certain percentages of your group's membership attend, you get Bonus Attendance points as follows:
     
     
     • 25-49%: 5pts
     • 50-74%: 10pts
     • 75-99%: 15pts
     • 100%: 20pts
        
        
      
2. Number of events attended
   
   
   • If your group is represented at every event, you get an extra 20 pts
          
              
3. Bonus points
      
      
        
   • If your group has 25% attendance at all Events, you get an extra 20pts
      
   

What does this all mean?

Well, let's say you have 25% attendance at all events here's the break down of your points:

60 points     General attendance (for having at least one member at every event)

30 points     25% Attendance at an Event (5pts x 6 events = 30 pts)

20 points     Number of events attended (6 events attended)

20 points     Bonus (25% attendance at all 6 events)

130 points   Total

Oh No! A Tie!
In the event of a tie, money will be evenly distributed between teams that are tied with the most points.
