The First Year Success Seminar for EOP students is a one-credit course designed as a semester long continuation of the extended EOP Pre-Freshman Orientation. FYSS provides students with an opportunity to become integrated into the life of the campus by exploring the academic standards of the college, learning to manage their academic progress, and most importantly, making further connections with the college, its faculty, staff, and students. The course is designed to accelerate student transition to the college through exploration of issues and concerns common to first year college students.
