Utilize the Adult Learner's Lounge
A great place to relax between classes and to socialize with classmates!
- This lounge is conveniently located in Carson Hall 107 next to the College Writing Center and not far from the Math Lab. It's also very near Becky's Place.
- It's open to all students, not just adult learners and is the home and meeting place of the ALA (Adult Leaner Association).
- There are desks for working, chairs/sofas for socializing and 12 lockers available for your storage purposes.
- The lounge has a refrigerator for student use as well as a microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker and sink. You may bring your lunch and prepare it there or purchase your lunch from Becky's Place down the hall.
- There is a phone available for local calls and 2 computers available for school work. The lounge has wireless abilities if you bring your laptop.
- The ALA added a small television to the lounge in the spring of 2009 for students to use.
