11 credits for 15 students. Coordinator: Liliana Trevizan.
Did you ever wonder how much of our gendered selves is nature and how much is nurture? What does gender have to do with violence, communication, the jobs we are hired for, the pay we receive, sexuality, and our domestic life? How do gender relations differ and/or stay the same across cultures? This FIG will examine and debate these issues as well as the ways in which culture, class and race intersect with gender and power.
