Transfer Student Orientation

Congratulations and Welcome to SUNY Potsdam!


We understand that our transfer students have different needs than our incoming freshmen students.  Because of your past experience with orientation at your previous college, we offer transfer students the choice between two orientation programs. 

After you send in your deposit to our Admissions Office you will receive a mailing from the First Year Transitions Office directing you to sign up for one of the two following orientation sessions:

I. Online Orientation for Transfer Students
Once your virtual tour is complete you will have to pass a quiz before you call our office to make an appointment to register for your classes.

II. Transitions Conference
Come to campus early for this interactive session and meet some very important campus representatives and our orientation team.
