Personal Development
The following services are available to SSS participants:
- Individual Counseling:
Confidential counseling services are available to help students in a wide variety of areas such as stress, anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem and relationships.
- Group Counseling:
Counseling groups such as Stress Management, Women’s Issues and Self-Esteem are offered to meet student’s needs. Other topics may be offered upon request. See our Calendar of Events for current offerings.
- Peer Mentoring:
New freshmen and transfer participants are provided with an SSS Peer Mentor every fall. This mentor is available to help you with your initial transition to campus life.
- Computer Loan Program:
SSS has several desktop and laptop computers available for loan to SSS participants. Desktops may be signed out for the entire semester, while laptops are available for a week at a time.
