Photography Submission Guidelines

All the photos for the site must be submitted to Public Affairs.

Liaisons may submit photographs in two different ways:

• Via email to webcontent@potsdam.edu
• http://www.potsdam.edu/toolbox/web/submit_photo.cfm
  

Photos for galleries should be unaltered, originals.



Technical Specifications

• Photos should be sent as .jpeg files.
  
• We cannot accept any photos that come to us within a Microsoft Word document.
  

Composition Requirements for Right Navigation Photos

• Photos should be engaging.
• Photos should be relevant to the site in which they are being placed.
  

Public Affairs will not accept photos that are of the following composition:

• Photos that are blurry, distorted or too dark.
• Contains subjects that are either engaged in inappropriate activities or wearing clothing items that are inappropriate.
