2012-2013 Web Redesign

The Office of Public Affairs has been charged with the task of working with campus constituents to redesign the SUNY Potsdam website to improve user experience. Since April we've been collecting feedback in the form of audience interviews, focus groups and online surveys. Thank you to all those who have taken the time to contribute your ideas.

The results of our research thus far has indicated the following priorities:

  • Better search engine
  • Site navigation improvements
  • Mobile capability
  • Events calendar upgrade
  • Quick access to commonly used tools
  • Fulfill website accessibility requirements

While this first stage of research is coming to a close, we would like you to continue to voice your opinions on what you like and don't like and what you would rather see more or less of. Please feel free to complete this online form to send us functionality suggestions, accessibility recommendations, other websites for us to look at, elements and tools from other sites, etc.

We will keep this site up-to-date with our progress and ask for your suggestions. Your comments will help guide our process and manage expectations.

Our goal is to make this process transparent so that we may incorporate your ideas into this project and ultimately make the most effective website possible for all constituents.

The more ideas and suggestions we have from the Potsdam Community, the more this website will become about the SUNY Potsdam experience.
